Purpose of the Founding Team. The Founding team is a critical part of the school’s success. Specifically, The Wright Community School Founding Team will assist in building an excellent school that is singularly focused on carrying out its mission to educate all 6-12th grade students for academic and life success, with a focus on college preparation for all students. Founding Team members share a powerful commitment to the school’s mission and vision to educate the traditionally under-served students of Metro Atlanta. They are dedicated, passionate, and entrepreneurial individuals willing to volunteer their expertise, connections, and time to ensure completion of a successful charter application and the ultimate success of The Wright Community School in fulfilling its mission. The Founding Team will consist of 7-9 members. Founding Team members are expected to transition to Governing Board members upon charter approval.
